With fall/winter being right around the corner, I can’t stress enough how important it is to keep your lips moisturized. No one likes the way dry chapped lips look or feel. Plus, all you beauty lovers now that your lipstick will not look right when applied over dry chapped lips.
However, I myself know from experience that sometimes no matter how much you try to keep your lips all nice and soft, sometimes the chapped lips prevail. (However, I think that’s due to me not drinking enough water.)
One of the key steps to getting soft, sexy, kissable lips is by using a good lip balm. Being the lip product junkie that I am, I love when I’m able to try new and different products to add to my favorites list!
My new favorite lip product is the Madflowers Lip Potion.
The Madflowers Lip Potion is not your average lip balm. It’s made with a unique blend of oils!
- Shea Butter infused with Henna Extract. Stains and protects naturally, promoting sensuality with kissable, sexy lips.
- Hawaiian Kukui Nut, Macadamia Nut and Safflower Oil. Moistens, nourishes and heals lips.
- Vitamin E and Collagen. Rejuvenates plumps and diminishes fine lines.
- Tangerine. Adds refreshing flavor and an energizing aroma.
One of the first things I look for when applying lip balms, is to see if it leaves behind a thick, greasy residue and if it has a pleasant smell. I’m glad to say that this did not leave behind that thick yucky feeling that you can get from some lip balms. Plus it smells AMAZING!
It has a bit of a thin consistency, and a little bit will go a long way. It left my lips smooth and very soft and it helped to fill in some of the lines on my lips. It also left them with a very natural looking tint (which I LOVE).
It was left on my porch when it got delivered, so it melted a bit. 🙁
After using this for about a month, I can see a huge difference in my lips. Not only are they smooth and soft, but my lips feel more hydrated and I can see an overall difference.
If you’re in the market for a really great lip balm and want nice, soft, sexy, kissable lips then I highly recommend the Madflowers Lip Potion! It’s definitely worth the splurge!
