I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I’ve wanted to try out the Revlon Chalkboard nail polishes, that I got a while back, and finally got a chance to this weekend.
Most Chalkboard Nails that I’ve seen, have really cute designs. Such as # signs, letters, numbers, hearts, question marks, etc.
So I decided to do something a little different that’s simple, and quick.
Here’s what I used:
Butter London: Nail Foundation Flawless Base Coat
Essie: Matte About You
Revlon Nail Art Chalkboard: Home Coming (Lilac) and Spring Break (Mint)
Just wanted to show you what the black polish looks like.
Here’s the look I came up with:
I really like how they came out! I could have cleaned up my stripes a little more, but the nail polish and nail polish remover fumes where giving me a headache. LOL
I really loved how this polish applied. It was very smooth, not too thick and not too thin.
When I first tried them, I thought they took long to dry and mattify, but that’s because I was applying my coats too thick.
However, I was not crazy about the nail striper brush. I found it to be a bit too thick and ended up using my own nail striping brush.
What do you think? Is this something you would wear?
