Hope you all had a great day!
I’ve never really been a fan of scented nail polish because the smell does not last long. So in my opinion, it’s kind of pointless.
So when I was at CVS last week (I practically live there now 🙂 ), and saw the display, I was immediately drawn to the packaging.
Then I noticed that it was scented polish; however, according to Revlon the difference with this scented polish and others, is that the scent will last all day long.
I decided to give it a try, to my surprise they were on sale B1G1 50%!! So I grabbed up a few.
Here are the colors I picked out:
African Tea Rose: a beautiful bright pink
Scent : Smells like roses.
Moonlit Woods: gorgeous frosted lavender
Scent: Floral scent with a musky undertone.
Ginger Melon: a pretty pink coral
Scent: Smells like delicious melons.
Bordeaux: a deep red wine
Scent: Call me crazy but smells like red wine to me.
Wild Violets: a gorgeous deep purple
Scent: Has a light fresh lavender smell.
Wintermint: a pretty mint green with blue glitter
Scent: Has a light minty scent.
Autumn Spice: a gorgeous chocolate brown with copper glitter
Scent: Smells like pumpkin filling and nutmeg Yum!
Beachy: a pretty bronze gold
Scent: The name says it all. This really does remind me of a beach-y air scent with a very slight coconut undertone.
I’m really happy with these polishes.
All of these polishes have a thin formula, which I love, gives perfect coverage in two coats and dries really fast.
I did think that I would have a problem with the handle because of its shape and size. Yet, it fit perfectly in my fingers and gave me great control.
Now to find out if the scent really last all day… YES! Even with washing my hands numerous times, I found that the scent lasted about 1 1/2 days before I could no longer smell it.
I’m really loving these polishes and love how they all fit nice and neat inside of my polish drawer due to their square shape.
My only gripe with the polish is that I couldn’t smell them at the store. The display did not have any samples of the scents and since the scent doesn’t “reveal” itself until the polish is dried. It would be nice if there was perhaps a scratch and sniff sticker somewhere on the bottle. Perhaps underneath? I don’t really like not knowing what something smells like.
Have you tried Revlon Parfumerie nail polishes yet? If so, what are your thoughts on them? Which one is your favorite and which do you recommend that I try next?
