I hope everyone’s New Year has gotten off to a great start! So far, mine has gotten off to an okay start. Little by little I’m doing things that are of my comfort zone, and it’s going great!
For a while now I’ve been thinking of adding a new series to my blog. After thinking for what seems forever, it finally hit me. One of my favorite ways to pamper myself on Sunday nights are indulging in a facial mask. Boom! Perfect idea for a new series!
I’ve yet to come up with a name for it though. So any suggestions would be great!
Not too long ago I received some Freeman Facial Mask as a Klout Perk, for being a Klout Member. (See below if you want to know what Klout is all about)
I received a total of three, but just had to try the Charcoal one first.
“This unique mask and scrub works double time to detox skin. First, naturally purifying Activated Charcoal helps absorb oil and impurities without over-drying. The, Black Sugar helps exfoliate away dulling skin cells for softness and clarity. Perfect for all skin types.” – Freemanbeauty.com
The reason I had to try this first is because my favorite type of masks are exfoliating masks. I just love how they make my skin look and feel.
I only have one complaint about this mask. I don’t know if it was just me, but it was kind of hard to get it out of the package. I had to ended cutting it open to get all of it out.
Other than that I loved this mask!
The exfoliators felt great and were easy to wash off! I’ve tried mask where they were too rough and hurt a little while I was scrubbing, and then I’ve tried some where the exfoliators were too soft and didn’t feel like they were really exfoliating my skin.
Just have to make funny faces when you have a mask on! Don’t you agree?
Overall, I really loved this masked. I loved how it brightened my skin and left my skin feeling super soft. I would definitely go out to purchase more of them.
Have you tried the Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask? If so, what are thoughts on it? Was it a yay or a nay?
