Anyone a fan of Pixi Beauty like I am? If so, and if you have been following their IG you’ll see how they are raving about Multi-Misting. I was really intrigued about this new trend and was super excited when I received a package from them with their mists (which included their infamous Glow Mist) so that I can try this new trend out on myself.
What exactly is multi-misting? Unlike multi-masking where you apply different masks to different areas of your face (more on that later). You’re layering different mists on top of each other. I know some of you may be thinking that so many layers may be too heavy for the skin, but these mists are very lightweight and perhaps gentler than normal moisturizers. Which makes then perfect for the upcoming sweltering summer days.
Vitamin Wakeup Mist – Vitamin boosting treatment toner mist gives a revitalized awakened effect to complexion.
Hydrating Milky Mist – Featherlight mist provides an instant surge of hydration with hyaluronic acid to plump skin.
Glow Mist – All-over glow mist for a radiant, dewy effect. 13 natural oils to nourish and moisturize.
Makeup Fixing Mist – All-over setting spray for longer-wearing makeup. Rosewater & green tea hydrates and protects.
How exactly should you multi-mist? I’ll tell you how I do it in 5 easy steps.
- Tone your skin with the Vitamin Wakeup Mist.
- Hydrate with the Hydrating Milky Mist.
- Finish your normal makeup up routine.
- Glow up with the Glow Mist (makeup sure to shake this really good). If you don’t want a dewy finish just skip this step and move to step 5.
- Set it with the Makeup Fixing Mist (smells freaking amazing).
I’m definitely loving all of these mists; however, if I had to pick a favorite it would hands-down be the Vitamin Wakeup Mist because I just love how refreshed my face looks after using it. My second favorite would be the Makeup Fixing Mist because it sets my makeup to perfection.
Not feeling the whole multi-misting? That’s perfectly fine, you honestly don’t need to layer these products on to get the full benefits.
Does your skin get parched throughout the day? Mist on the Hydrating Milky Mist for some extra hydration.
Did you over “bake”? Mist on some Makeup Fixing Mist on your beauty blender to help get rid of the excess powder.
Do you want to boost your highlighter? Mist some of the Glow mist onto a brush and apply to the areas that you want to boost then follow up with your highlighter.
Just got done working out? Mist on the Vitamin Wakeup Mist to help tone your skin after that all sweat.
They also have a Sun Mist which I’m really want to try since I’m currently in search for a new facial sunscreen.
Have you tried multi-misting with the Pixi Beauty Mists? If not, does it seem like something you would want to try?
